iSimulate is now available on the App Store for a limited time offer of $4. No, I don’t have anything to do with this product, I just think it is cool. It helps augment the Simulator Tool by allowing you to control it with your device. Therefore, the Simulator can take accelerometer input, GPS, multi-touch, etc. This is very useful for taking videos of your application for whatever your marketing needs are.

Every day the price is going to rise exponentially until it’s at $32. I.e. tomorrow will be $8, Wednesday $16. So, if this interests you, better get it now.

A friend pointed me to the Stanford iPhone Classes offered on iTunes as part of iTunes U. There are a number of free videos (23 to be exact) taught by Apple Engineers (Evan Doll, Alan Cannistraro and others). I’ve gone through the first two lectures. Admittedly, they require substantial fast forwarding in sections due to length discussion about office hours and the like, the core material is outstanding.
