I’ve universally moved all my editors; Eclipse, TextMate and Xcode to using 16 point font. I’ve had to defend a few “old man” accusations, but at the end of the day, eye strain is NO WHERE NEAR as bad as it was with the standard 12 point font. I can sit further back from the screen, more comfortably and read the text with out effort. Try it, you might like it.
